Guizhou Xinpu Shui On Cement Co. Ltd ("Xinpu Shui On") started the construction of its energy-saving and environmentally friendly rotary kiln on 16 July 2001. With a total investment of Rmb 150 million, the new production line was completed on 11 December 2002 and has an annual production capacity of 400,000 tonnes. Its "Huagang" Cement is well-known in Guizhou Province. The plant utilizes advanced precalciner technology to produce cement products that are of high quality, consistent and environmentally friendly. The company also uses large quantity of industrial waste as raw materials in the production process. This practice coincides with the Central Government's industrial policy and is beneficial to the environment.Xinpu Shui On is the first cement plant in Guizhou using precalciner technology. It plays an important role in the development of the cement industry in the province and in facilitating local social and economic growth.
